On April 5, 2023, the 32nd Vietnam International Trade Fair – Vietnam Expo officially opened at the International Exhibition Center (ICE) in Hanoi.

The opening ceremony of Vietnam Expo 2023 was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Đỗ Thắng Hải, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hoàng Quang Phòng, Vice Chairman of the Sơn La Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thành Công, representatives from state management agencies at both central and local levels, and trade promotion organizations.

Vietnam Expo, held annually since 1991, has accompanied businesses for 31 years, becoming a prestigious brand where Vietnamese enterprises showcase their products and global trade promotion organizations choose as a starting point for business and investment in Vietnam.

Impressive figures demonstrate the success of Vietnam Expo: visitor numbers have increased by an average of 30% annually (except during 2 pandemic years), successful transactions have grown by 25%, and post-exhibition contracts signed by businesses have risen by 15%.

“Vietnam Expo is one of the largest and most important trade promotion events of Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade. It brings significant economic value and practical opportunities to help Vietnamese enterprises enhance exports, develop the domestic market, improve their capacity to participate in global value chains, and actively contribute to the Government’s commitments on international economic integration,” emphasized the Deputy Minister.

In 2023, Vietnam Expo will take place over 4 days, from April 5 to April 8, expecting to welcome more than 20,000 visitors for sightseeing, business, and networking. To date, the fair’s registration portal has received information from 9 delegations, organizations, and individual visitors from over 60 countries and territories.

The fair features 600 booths from over 500 enterprises, showcasing products across diverse and distinctive industry groups, divided into five main sectors: National Brand and Export Enterprises; International Pavilion; Electronics – Machinery and Supporting Industries; Digital Technology – E-commerce; Food Industry.

Attending this year’s Expo, Mr. Trần Văn Tám, representative of Altai Sibiri Distribution Joint Stock Company, expressed confidence in their health care and beauty products made from deer antler velvet. “I hope to introduce our products to a wide range of consumers and businesses, and to sell many products. Participating in Vietnam Expo this year, I have great expectations for international cooperation opportunities to bring our products further to new markets,” shared Mr. Trần Văn Tám.
