The International Exhibition on Fire Safety & Rescue, Security, and Smart Building Technologies – Fire Safety & Rescue Vietnam – Secutech Vietnam 2018 took place from August 16 to 18, 2018 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Major General Doan Viet Manh, Director of the Department of Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police, Ministry of Public Security, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

One of the exhibition’s highlights was the U.S. pavilion featuring a “Smart Home” model, showcasing advanced fire safety technologies tailored for the Vietnamese market. Visitors were introduced to smart devices such as facial recognition doors, surveillance systems, and voice-controlled systems.

Other standout booths included those from the Korea Fire Institute and Singaporean enterprises, displaying integrated security surveillance technology, management systems, and networking solutions. The exhibition featured key product groups such as active and passive fire protection systems, disaster rescue equipment, personal protective gear, surveillance devices, smart locks and cards, intrusion alarms and peripherals, electrical and automation devices, and signal transmission equipment — creating a diverse, well-connected platform for domestic and international suppliers.

The delegates cut the ribbon to officially open the exhibition.

This year’s exhibition features over 530 booths from 300 leading agencies, organizations, manufacturers, and professional suppliers representing more than 20 countries and territories, including the UK, India, Croatia, Taiwan, Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, the United States, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Japan, France, Singapore, Thailand, China, the UAE, and Vietnam. Participating countries showcased their latest solutions in security, fire safety, and automation technologies for factories, smart cities, buildings, and homes.

A large number of visitors attended the exhibition booths.

Secutech Vietnam 2018 is jointly organized by the Department of Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police; the Department of Security Industry and Enterprise Management under the Ministry of Public Security; Vietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition JSC (VIETFAIR); and Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media (Germany). The exhibition runs until August 18 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
